Experience the highlights of world famous Rotorua on this one day tour!

Take a journey to the cultural and geothermal wonderland of Rotorua. Journey from Auckland through the lush King Country to the aptly named Bay of Plenty. Travel aboard InterCity Coachlines alongside friendly kiwi's and learn about life here in New Zealand.

Arriving in Rotorua just after midday you'll then board the CitySights bus a dedicated hop-on, hop-off sightseeing circuit bus that will transport you to your choice of either Skyline Rotorua or Rainbow Springs.

At Skyline Rotorua you'll ride the gondola up Mt Ongotaha - be inspired by the extensive views over Rotorua City, Lake Rotorua and surrounds. Take the opportunity to have some lunch and enjoy the views or race down the mountain with a luge ride! (Lunch/luge own expense.)

Instead of Skyline Rotorua you can experience Rainbow Springs Kiwi Wildlife Park which offers a unique opportunity to experience NZ's wonderful environment and animals, including our national icon - the kiwi.

From here hop on the CitySights bus once again. Enjoy some great commentary from the local driver en route to Te Puia where you'll take a guided tour and learn of Maori customs and traditions. Explore the famous Whakarewarewa thermal valley including the amazing Pohutu geyser which erupts up to 30 meters in the air.

At the end of the tour, board your GreatSights coach back to Auckland enjoying an extensive and entertaining commentary on the way; or choose to stay a few nights in Rotorua.
